Hi, of course. If you give me the title of your story, I can check for you!

It got to be one complete story or lik a chapter of a story?
Hi, as long as after the deadline it is a story with a complete plot, it can be either one story or it can be split in chapters. Does this help?
I want to give my writeup for this competition
Hi, great to hear. Do you know how to participate?
What is the topic?
Hi, the topic is Tomorrow
What if someone opens an account for the first time but doesn't get enough likes due to the lack of followers for the account is new and not seen by readers?
Hi there,
For that, we have New section on Sweek (on web it is still called Unfindables). There readers can see all the newest stories. Also we can recommend doing the following. Read and follow other stories and give meaningful feedback in comments. We can almost guarantee that in return those users will be happy to check out your story and give feedback! :) Share your story in your network of friends and family as well as social media channels.
Can it be possible to send multiple stories per person for the competition?
Hi, yes, as stated in the description, it is possible :)
What about adults around 40 and above? Are they eligible too?
Hi, of course!
Is it only stories or can we publish our poems also?
Hi, poems are definitely allowed as well!:)
Hi , can the poem be on any title ? Plz do let me know !
Hi, yes, you can submit a poem. You can give it any title, but make sure to have tomorrow as a theme in your poem. Good luck and let us know in case of any questions!
Tip: get notifications about your followers in the Sweek app!
iOS app: http://apple.co/2iIPnDV
Android app: http://bit.ly/2k7IjNC
When we are writing it, does our character have to be referring to it as what he or she would do tomorrow or must our character already be in the future?
Hi,
Doesn't matter, both is perfectly fine!:)
Does it involve non fiction also ?
Yes, as stated in the description, it can also be non-fiction!
So what exactly does writing a story about tomorrow constitute of?
Hi, what exactly do you mean with your question? If there are any mandatory parts to be included?
Yes. Like "tomorrow" is s very broad term. Is the story about believing in a better tomorrow, some event to occur tomorrow or what?
Hi, it is indeed pretty broad ;) We don't want to limit participants in their choice :) So all the cases you mentioned would fit our topic!
How should I go about the story .... I couldn't understand the theme
Hi,
The theme is quite broad :) The storyline has to be related to tomorrow, to the future. So it can be about something in the past which relates to your future, or it can be about events which are happening in the future. It's all up to you!
Hi I am first time visitor can you help me? Can I submit a love writeup?
Hi there,
In which contest would you like to participate? We currently have two:
https://blog.sweek.com/aspiring-india-writing-competition-celebrating-storytelling/
https://blog.sweek.com/writing-competition-tomorrow/
where i have to apply for competition
Hi, you need to create an account on sweek.com and publish your story there. You can check our video guide on how to publish a story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPP3Lsz2QkY&t=1s
Don't hesitate to contact us in case of other questions!
Story must be tagged tomorrow in story deatils
Means .. Is story based on tomorrow or something else please clarify this
Hi,
It means that when you go to your story details, in the tags section you need to put the tag 'tomorrow'. The story should be related to your future, to your tomorrow. The rest is up to you :) It can even be a story of the past which in the end has a connection to tomorrow. Hope this helps! Let us know in case of any other questions :)
How will we know our story is entered?
If you tagged your story correctly, it is participating. After the deadline we will also notify all the participants. If you are not sure whether you tagged the story correctly, we could check it for you.
Language is not understandable
Hi, what do you mean? You want to know with which languages you can participate or is there anything else in the description of the competition?
Hi, is it necessary to write a story with a plot? I mean can I participate with a write up like an essay or article?
Hi, it has to be of course related to the topic. If you manage to do that, then it's all good!
How do I share my story on my social media handles for others to read?
Hi, there is a share button when you are reading the story (next to like and follow buttons), have you found it?
It is mentioned that maximum words should be 3000, is it as per chapter 3000 words or the story should contain 3000 words..?
Hi, the whole story should contain 3000 words max!
3000 words and #tomorrow ......and story should be linked with future. That's it......is it fine to divide the story into 2 chapters? or could we do it in 1 chapter only.
Hi, you can divide it in as many chapters as you like.
Is it necessary to write about myself? Can't I take any fictional character for my story ? And which languages are valid to write our story ?
Hi, it can be about you or any fictional character, that's up to you :) The participating languages are English, German, Dutch, Polish and Portuguese.
If my story is just of proximately 600 words. Does it stand a chance to win ?
The story max is 3000 words, but that doesnt mean that it has to be all 3000 words ;) If your plot is complete in 600 words, that's fine as well!
Can I add a poetry of mine related to the story I wish to write
Hi, as long as it is either in the description or included as a part of the story, sure :) (so that readers do not have to search for the poetry story as well)
Can we also write fanfiction?
Hi! If it is related to the topic, sure ;)
I am interested in participating.
Great, did you already create your story?
In case I wish to modify the story after submission based on the feedback received in the comments section, is that possible??
Hi, it is possible to modify your story as much as you'd like before the deadline. After the deadline you can no longer modify it, otherwise, your story will be disqualified.
Will all the participants get a certificate
Hi, do you mean a confirmation of participation or something else?
Is it important to give my story title TOMORROW ?? Or it is only the topic ? I didn't get it. Please clear the confusion.
Hi, the title of the story is totally up to you :) Tomorrow is just a broad topic of the contest.
Can it be a story which has already been published somewhere else, other than sweek?
Hi, yes it can!
Can a story have more than one fictional characters??
Hi, sure! :)
Can the piece of writing be in a form of poetry or small article ?
Hi there, yes it can!
How will i submit the story?
Hi Sakshi,
You need to create an account on Sweek and publish your story, as shown in this tutorial:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPP3Lsz2QkY. Let us know in case of any questions :)
How should I submit the story?? Could you please tell me....
Hi Monika,
You need to create an account on Sweek and publish your story, as shown in this tutorial:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPP3Lsz2QkY.
Is it mandatory to give a title of the tale? How about if we keep it anonymous?
Hi Indira, of course you're allowed to keep your story anonymous. You can decide on your username (e.g. Sweekgirl1) and your e-mail address will not be shown to other users. If you tag your story #tomorrow, we'll know it's part of the competition! You don't have to share the title here. Good luck and let us know in case of any questions!
can i submit poems , which are already published in my book ?
Hi, if they are related to the topic, sure!
Will all participants get certificate??
Hi there, do you mean like a confirmation of participation or some special certificate?
Wow!!
How to create the account on 'seek'?
Hi, you need to click on sign up on our website https://sweek.com/#/!
On what basis will d winners be decided?
will the comments and views of others effect our winning chances??
Hi,
The crowd prize is determined by the number of followers, and the jury prizes are determined by the juries. The views and comments won't have an influence on the jury selection.
Hi, any possibility of deadline getting extended? I just bumped into this link and already wanting to participate!
Hi, you still have about a month to participate ;) We only extend our deadline in very specific circumstances.
Gi. I'm assuming it has to be a story then, I can't just write a poem. Also, what if tommorow never comes? Is that allowed? If the character dies at the end?
Hi, as mentioned in the blog post, it can also be a poem. Everything on Sweek is called stories: books, poetry, articles etc. ;) And yes, that is allowed!
Thanks.
Hii!.…is there any registration fee involved?
Hi Samrin, no there are no costs for participating in the contest! Doesn't matter if you want to enter with 1, 2 or 10 stories - it's free! Good luck and let us know if you have any questions!
Really....I don't know how to involve my friends nd family for crowd count
Tell that that this is the story worth sharing and checking out ;) They can do it both via the website or the app
Hai , is it valid if one person writes more than one story ?
Hi, yes, you can submit multiple entries for one contest!
Can the story be like after few paras... There are few poems or something kind of that
Hi Siddhi, both poetry and prose is allowed. As long as you stick to the topic of 'tomorrow', you can choose any form to tell your story! Good luck and I hope I answered your question!

and what should be the minimum length of the story?

What are the facts based on which the story will be judged? Can you please guide?
Hi, the jury will look at plot/story line, originality, relevance to the topic and writing style and skills. Your story will be judged based on the combination of these factors. I hope this answers your question!
Hi, is it a must to base the story on my own expectations? Can I just use expectations of a fiction character I make up?
Hi Danielle, we accept both options. The choice for fiction or nonfiction is up to you! Good luck :)

oh man this sounds interesting! Sadly all my stories other then my personal narrative that I don't want to enter are all above 10,000 words or will be..... Well I can always write another!
That's the spirit ;)
Can you please specify the judging criteria . Is it also based on voting ?
Hi, the jury will look at plot/story line, originality, relevance to the topic and writing style and skills. Your story will be judged based on the combination of these factors. There are multiple jury based prizes, and there is one popularity prize for the story with the most followers. I hope this answers your question!
Hey, since I don't have a computer, is it alright for me to submit my story on wattpad as long as I still hashtag it as Tomorrow?
hey ,is it open for people in east africa,Uganda specifically?
Hi! Yes, you can participate from all over the world, so also from Uganda! The only requirement is that the story is in English or any other of the allowed languages and has no more than 3,000 words. Other requirements can be found on this page. Good luck!
Hi, do I keep the rights to the story or no? and by posting the story in public does it mean it's published that way?
Hi Mirette, no, you will always keep the copyright of your own story when you publish on Sweek. We only have the right to show it to Sweek users for as long as you allow us to do so. When you unpublish or delete your story, it won't be visible on Sweek anymore. I hope this answers your question!
Hi, can my storie participate in English and Portuguese? Will I be judge twice? It is the same story? Or do I have to choose only one language, since is the same story? OMG Do I make any sense? ((:
Hi Fernanda, if you submit the same story in two languages, it will be judged separately. So the jury will read both your stories and both can possibly win :) good luck and let us know in case you have any other questions!

Hello~ This competition sounds so interesting! I just have a few questions: If enter one (or several) stories in the competition, will I be allowed to post it/them elsewhere (e.g. Wattpad) for other people to read, as long as it's not entered in another competition? And what is the dimension requirement for the story cover? Thanks!
Hi Gaea, the stories remain under your copyright, so you can also upload them in other places. The story cover is 1:1.5. So 600x900, 1000x1500 etc. in portrait. It can't be larger than 2mb. Good luck and let us know in case of any other questions!

Is it fine if the story goes to a more spirtual side related to bible
Hi, as long as the story is related to the topic, yes!
What if we end the story in a bit obnoxious way, as in, it feels like it's incomplete. But it is from the writer's point of view.
Hi Shefali,
Our juries will need to review it and decide whether they think it is complete or not.
Can you write a paragraph? Including just your thoughts and views but without a plot?
Hi, if that is non-fiction, then definitely!
What about if we use regional /original/mother tongue words followed by the same English words in braces.. somewhere in our story.?
Are there any negative points for this?
Hi there,
That's fine with us!:)
Could it be in the form of a letter?
Hi, sure :)
3000 words means how many pages
Hi,
Depends of course on the font you are using, but roughly this would be 6 pages.
Greetings Sweek Team! Need a little help.. could you please check if I have uploaded/tagged my story correctly? My username is Dhanya and the story is called The Professor. Thanks!
Hi there, yes, it's tagged correctly!
Hey. .. Can I submit two stories at a time??... Both are totally different though!!
Hi Ritu, yes, you can! You can submit as many stories as you would like for this competition. Be sure to upload them as separate stories and tag both with #tomorrow. Good luck and let us know in case of any questions!
Did you already check out the app?

Do we get to give a small description about the story as well? I mean, not the plot, but how the story is to be viewed?
Hi there,
You can put that in the story description. Let us know if you have troubles finding it (it goes together with the title and cover image)
Hey can I know if my story entered the competition please? My username is VSri and my title of the story is Hello Tomorrow. Thanks in advance.
Hi, it is tagged correctly :)
Just wondering... could it be something like the foreword/ introduction to a memoir where the character looks back on all the 'Tomorrows' they've had?
Sounds interesting! And yes, it can :)
The story which I desire to publish is totally in past tense, but according to the theme, it must be something related to tomorrow/future. But my story is based on a fictional character that how he fulfills his dream of tomorrow. I have written the story in PAST TENSE. So is it okay?
Hi,
It is definitely fine :)
Hi, just wondering if a story that has adult content (in my story's case, entirely non-graphic prostitution [there's no intercourse] and hints at violence) is eligible for the contest. Thanks!
Hi, in the story rating you need to indicate that this is Adult contest. Also if you'd like, you can mention it in the story description/intro as a warning. As long as you put the rating as Adult contest, you are allowed to participate :)
Can it be an open ended story?
As long as it is not the case that the story was simply not finished and abrupted, it can be open ended indeed.
Must the readers be a sweek user in order for their reads to be counted?
People can read your story without creating an account, but for liking, following and commenting they need to create an account.
Hi, I am new here on sweek I have a doubt relating to the competition #tomorrow if I don't have any followers on sweek would I be able to participate in this competition
Hi, you are definitely able to participate! Only for our crowd prize we count the number of followers. However, you can still promote your story (for instance, in this dedicated Sweek story) so you can get some feedback from your readers: https://sweek.com/#/read/26282/1400000162
hey i am gettting some problem over there, recently i have published two chapters of my story and it is still incomplete , and my profile is not showing my story in the option og my stories, i have to complete it. please help me out.
Hi, can you please give us your username so we could check?
I participated in previour competition can I participate in this one?
Hi, you can participate, but not with the story which has already participated in the previous contest ;)
Hello. Is it possible to enter one story to two competitions? Like enter a story to the aspiring india contest and the tomorrow contest?
Hi, no this is unfortunately not possible.
so would they be disqualified or warned?
They would be warned first.
Hi. Is it compulsory to write in the form of chapters? And if we do it like that then total word limit 1000 words include all chapters altogether or one chapter 1000 words?
Hi, you do not necessarily have to split it in chapters, you can also upload everything as one chapter. The limit is for the entire story. For the #tomorrow contest it is 3000 words :)
Hey, does it have to be a legit story or could be an essay or autobiography on the very same topic?
As long as it is related to the topic, nonfiction is allowed as well, including an essay.
I've uploaded my story but nobody has read it till now. How do we promote it.
Hi, here are some of our tips for getting your story discovered!

Hi, this is something that will need to be judged on an individual basis.
Does the word limit have to be maximum 3000 words or minimum 3000 words? Can it exceed 300 words?
The maximum is 3000 words.
Can you please check if my story "Mio Domani" has been tagged correctly because after publishing the story when I check the story details, I could not see the tag.
Thanks
Hi Alethea, it's tagged correctly! We see the #tomorrow tag, including other tags like #life and #romance. You still can't see it?
I can see it now. Thank you.
Hello. I have posted my story, but I am not sure whether it is tagged properly. Could you please check it for me? The title of my story is- ".......And then I winged to Germany." #tomorrrow
It would be better if you tag it in the right section (in story details in tags sections), but because it's in the title we will be able to recognize it. There are 2 published stories with this title by the way?
I think it's because my first account has been deactivated automatically. So I created another account and posted the same story. Therefore two stories are visible of the same content and title. Is there any solution for it? Will it affect somehow on my result?
Hi, I only see your story once and it's tagged with #tomorrow, so I think we're good. Unless you mean something else ;)
Yes , i solved the problem. Now my story can be seen only once. Now there is no problem. :)
My account of sweek has been deactivated automatically. Can I sign up again and publish the same story?
hey, in the submission guidelines you wrote maximum 3000 words and in the step by step guidelines you wrote not more than 1000 words. which one should I be following??
Hi, thank you for pointing this out. The limit is 3000 words!
Hi, can you please tell how to tag the story. Thank you
Hi, you need to go to your story details (where you have category, rating etc) and in the 'tags' section you need to add the tag.
Hello,
I wanted to know if the competition is opened for participants from India.
Thank you
Hi,
Yes, it is!
hi, I posted my story, but I'm not sure if its tagged properly, could you please check if I have? The title is 'Destine To Die'
Hi there,
Yes, tagged properly :)
What should the topic for our story be ??
Hi Harshada, just think about tomorrow and your future (or that of your character) and see where your story takes you! It can be any genre. Good luck!
Hi, Sweek Team! I've just published a story in my profile and used #tomorrow as one of the tags. Is it possible to check if it has been properly uploaded to Sweek, and to the competition as well? The story's name is "Amanhã" (Portuguese).
Thank you so much, and good luck everybody!
Victor

https://sweek.com/#/story-dashboard/31095,1400000162
It's dutch and about my dreams. I hope you all like it!
So, it is tagged correctly, but this is the correct link to share it: https://sweek.com/#/read/31095/1400000162 (if you share your story dashboard, people won't be able to see it, since it is private)
I hope my story is published? Is it a problem if there are 7 chapters? All words together are less then 3000 words.
I hope you can check it because I have worked hard on my story :) Thankyou
Hi, if you give us the title, we could check whether it's tagged correctly :) All the stories will be carefully reviewed after the submission deadline :)

Eu fui copiar o link da minha história, mas como estou aprendendo a usar apertei errado, e salvou como se eu tivesse postado hoje. Há algo que eu possa fazer ou não posso concorrer mais? Eu a publiquei ontem.
Oi, Verônica!
Não se preocupe, não tem problema. ;)
Abraços,
Equipe Sweek.

Hi, it is participating. This is the link to share: https://sweek.com/#/read/34125/1400000162

Hi, yes, it has :)
Hi, I just uploaded my story (Black Cats and Dogs) and put in the #tomorrow hashtag but it doesn't seem to be showing up. Please could you confirm if the entry/hastags were successful? Thank you.
Hi Scarlett, I indeed see you published the story but there's no hashtag. Please add it to the short description or as a tag. You can go to 'my stories', then click on your story and click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner. There you'll see 'edit story basics' and you can type #tomorrow in the description box. Don't forget to click back to save! Good luck :)
Thanks very much for your help.
